Privacy Policy
This policy covers the AI for Small Business website and our social media management application ("Social MCP"), which connects to Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts through Meta's Graph API.
What data we access
When the application is connected to a Facebook account, it accesses, with that account holder's explicit permission granted through Facebook Login:
- The list of Facebook Pages the account manages, and basic Page metadata (name, category, linked Instagram account);
- Content of those Pages: posts, scheduled posts, comments, and engagement/insights metrics;
- Content of linked Instagram professional accounts: media, comments, and insights.
The application acts only on Pages and Instagram accounts the connected user manages. It never accesses personal profiles, friends lists, or private messages.
How we use it
Data is used solely to provide the service the user requests: publishing and scheduling posts, managing comments, and reporting insights on the user's own Pages and Instagram accounts. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
What we store
- Access tokens issued by Meta, stored encrypted, used only to make Graph API calls on the user's behalf;
- Minimal operational records (which Page a user selected, timestamps of operations).
We do not maintain copies of Page or Instagram content beyond what is needed to complete a requested operation.
Data deletion
You can remove the application's access and have all associated data deleted at any time, in either of two ways:
- Remove the app from your Facebook account under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and Websites) — this revokes our access immediately; or
- Email hello.katezhang@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request". We will delete all stored tokens and records associated with your account within 30 days and confirm by reply.
